After years of training, coaching and numerous certifications I can tell you for sure that nothing trumps quality movement, progressive overload, and rock solid nutrition. There are no trendy bells and whistles here- you will do smart, effective workouts and eat for your goals and with purpose. If you feel like you've been working out for years and never see any changes, it's time to give this a try.
We decide together what will be the best fit for you. We offer in person training, hybrid (blend of in person and online), and completely online options. All programs are completely customized around your individual goals, schedule, wants, needs, available equipment, and injuries.
Any comments, questions or videos from your workouts? Whether in person or online I will provide feedback or answer questions surrounding your training. Check ins also allows me an opportunity to guide you through the process of progressive overload to make sure you are pushing yourself harder each week. Check ins are encouraged as often as needed!
Coaching calls will help us look at what is working, what could be better and keep us on the same page as we work toward your goals together. This is where you can bring any questions, concerns, or even just if you want to share a win or vent! It's all fair game here.
Access The Moxie Project platform via app which will break down all of your moves with video demonstration and allow you to track your progress.
The app also houses our Nutrition support and coaching. We ask clients to choose either macro based nutrition or meal plan based nutrition coaching to accompany their program. This is because we STRONGLY believe in the power of food and exercise working together to help you reach your goals faster!
Your program is built around you - that includes whatever equipment you have available to you at home or at the gym. For home based workouts here is what I recommend:
-Dumbbells and/or kettlebells
-Resistance bands
(EXTRA CREDIT!)
-Squat Rack
-Bench
-Barbell
-Bumper Plates
Moxie workouts are primarily strength based. We will focus on progressive overload from week to week which may include increasing weight used, repetitions, or sets of an exercise or selecting more challenging exercise. Custom programs may include suggested cardio training if needed. Bonus cardio/ mobility workouts will be available on the app.
Yes! As long as you are honest with me about your other workouts and training we can work around what else you like to do! Keep in mind I may make recommendations to ensure you are getting adequate rest and recovery and not over training.
The Moxie Project wants you to own your strength. That looks a little different for everyone, which is why all our packages are custom. Your job is to get the workouts in and make it a part of your lifestyle. I will guide you through the training, nutrition, habit stacking and battling the obstacles that may come up; but ultimately this is the setting the framework for you to take over and make health and fitness an automatic in your life. This is not a get fit quick fad! This is a process of adopting the discipline of taking care of yourself.
In addition, online training for 1 month can be a fraction of the cost of in person training for the same amount of sessions!
